Food can be grown with sea water and sun all year round thanks to a company providing the pioneering technology needed to deliver sustainable agriculture.

Sundrop Farms produces freshwater for irrigation using energy from the sun, converting it to electricity for its greenhouse to properly heat and cool the crops.

The company’s website stated: “We are showing the world that you can grow delicious, mouthwatering produce without the needing fossil fuels, vast amounts of fresh water and thousands of acres of cultivated farmland.

“In other words, we are breaking farming’s dependence on finite resources.”
