The actions taken by businesses, and individuals, will dictate if a climate neutral future, and indeed the existence of a liveable planet humans can still to call home, are attainable; and it’s fair to say we all want that.
So about that Pledge…
The campaign from the United Nations Climate Change secretariat urges corporations to go further when it comes to cutting greenhouse gas emissions; by measuring, reducing, and offsetting unavoidable emissions. Offsetting means purchasing UN-Certified Emissions Reductions (CERs) – which fund projects, like solar and wind farms, in developing countries.
