Leading UN Global Goals advocate, Marc Buckley, is working on his latest initiative: Menu B: planet-saving food solutions. The award-winning global food reformist, and member of the World Economic Forum Expert Network, is a renowned climate and innovation expert, and also Editor-at-Large for Innovators Magazine. Marc’s message is clear: there is no Planet B but there must be a Menu B, to replace the broken food systems that are a lead cause of climate disruption, habitat loss and hunger.
The Menu B handbook, due for release this year, will be part of a wider Menu B programme of virtual events and initiatives designed to support governments, businesses, citizens and investors take actions that will help accelerate the transition to sustainable food systems. Marc, along with a number of his fellow global food reformists, will explore how Menu B thinking can pave the way for innovations and habit changes that fast-track the goal.
“This impactful handbook will explore ways we can fix broken food systems to overcome the climate crisis and achieve zero hunger by 2030,” Marc said. “To inspire, it will showcase some of the food innovations accelerating us towards the achievement of all 17 Sustainable Development Goals. To accelerate action, it will connect readers with the actionable, planet-saving steps individuals, industries, policy-makers and investors can take to advance Menu B options, contributed by a who’s who of global food reformists.”
