Pioneering farm concept can sustain communities

A pioneering company is transforming shipping containers into off-grid mini farms.

Farm from a box says it is reinventing community farming to “provide communities with the tools required to grow their own food and earn an income.”

“Every unit comes equipped with a renewable power system, internet connectivity, basic farm tools, micro-drip irrigation system and water pump that can be adapted to fit either a groundwell or municipal water supply,” the company website states.
