The world’s biggest startup campus is due to open in central Paris this spring. Set to attract over 1000 of the most promising international startups, the Station F campus will house 3000 plus desks, an auditorium and various event spaces.
Some of the global startup ecosystem’s biggest names – including Facebook – will run programs. There is also the Station F Founders Program; its philosophy revolves around one idea: 90% of entrepreneurs’ problems are solved by other entrepreneurs.
“There are no appointed mentors, no useless partners, no mandatory workshops: we believe in our entrepreneurs’ independence and ambition” says Roxanne Varza, Director of Station F.
A desk in the 34,000m2 revamped train station – originally built in 1929 – costs from €195 a month. A housing extension is also being built nearby to accommodate 600 entrepreneurs and is due to open in 2018.
