Panasonic and Tesla talk solar energy

|21 October 2016|

Japan/USA

Panasonic and Tesla Motors have opened discussions on a potential collaboration designed to increase the adoption of solar energy worldwide.

The pair are looking at the possibility of working together under the Tesla umbrella on the production of PV cells and modules  for the North American market at a factory in Buffalo, New York.

Panasonics’ technological and manufacturing strengths married with Tesla’s renowned sales capacity could form a potent partnership within the renewable energy industry.

Though at an early stage their shared passion for building a sustainable society points to a what could be a game-changing relationship.
