‘Our house is on fire’

If the planet could pick a spokesperson, it would be Greta Thunberg.

The young Swede is pleading with those in power to rise to the many challenges of the climate crisis currently threatening the future of humanity. She famously went on strike outside her school brandishing the sign: Skolstrejk för klimatet (school strike for the climate). School children worldwide have since followed in her footsteps in what has become a global #ClimateStrike movement.

Greta spoke to decision makers at the World Economic Forum in Davos last week, echoing the messages she relayed to world leaders at COP24 in Katowice in December, about the need for them to fulfil their responsibilities as servants of the people and accelerate solutions, or face being replaced. This publication says #IstandWithGreta and would encourage you to do likewise. Check out the individual actions you can take to be part of the solution.
