Scania is going to supply 140 buses – that can all run on biodiesel – to Kristiansand in Norway.

The company will deliver a range of hybrid buses, all of which can run on biodiesel, to the city, which sits to the south west of the capital Oslo. The vehicles will place sustainability at the heart of its public transport system and will begin operating in July next year.

Karin Rådström, Senior Vice President and head of Buses and Coaches at Scania, said:“This is an example of Scania’s wide range of sustainable transport solutions. We’re not focusing on one solution, but many, which has helped us to fulfil the customer’s requirements.”
