Wind and solar energy provided Americans with more than 10% of their electricity in March for the first time, according to new data.

The country’s Energy Information Administration (EIA) released figures this week that shows the two renewable sources have set a new benchmark.

And as cities and corporations across the United States continue to embrace a sustainable future, the momentum towards a society powered by clean energy will continue to gather pace.
