Neste low-carbon fuel hits Oregon

In comparison to fossil diesel, Neste says its MY Renewable Diesel slashes greenhouse gas emissions by 80%. Made entirely from ‘renewable and sustainable raw materials’, it is now available to fleet owners in Oregon after Neste agreed a deal with McCall Companies, a major distributor in the US state.

“Neste MY Renewable Diesel is a drop-in fuel, meaning no engine or infrastructure modifications are needed to make the switch,” explained Jeremy Baines, Vice President of Sales for Neste US Inc. “Oregon lawmakers are actively looking for solutions to address carbon emissions. Switching from fossil diesel to Neste MY Renewable Diesel is all it takes to quickly start fulfilling that goal while also increasing the performance of Oregon’s hard working fleets.”

Neste reports that its renewable diesel has cut greenhouse gas emissions by more than 2.8 million metric tons in California since it was launched there in 2017.
