Getting the message out that business as usual on climate will increase hunger levels is vital, to encourage people – at all levels – to engage with the problem.
To help raise awareness, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, is offering free e-learning courses to inspire people to act. And it isn’t just for businesses and governments to heed the warnings, individuals can do their bit. And one thing everyone can do, is take the Climate Neutral Now pledge.
It is a two-way street, though, when it comes to climate and hunger, with the development of climate-friendly food systems another key piece of the jigsaw – and it is one of the topics being discussed at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP23) currently underway in Bonn.
