Europe is united in its commitment to the Paris agreement in the face of Donald Trump’s withdrawal – a move former US President Barack Obama said was “rejecting the future”.
France has been leading that charge in recent days. French President Emmanuel Macron grabbed the headlines in the aftermath of the Trump decision with the line “let’s make our planet great again”.
That soundbite has now been turned into an initiative by Macron, designed to welcome people from around the world who want to work towards delivering it.
