New French President Emmanuel Macron has told a major innovation event he wants France “to become a nation of unicorns”.
To nurture an ecosystem of young companies valued at a billion dollars, he told an audience at Viva Technology – in Paris – that France needs to ‘think’ and ‘move’ like a startup.

Former French President François Hollande is already on the case. He’s about to become a tenant of Station F, the world’s largest startup campus, based in Paris.
