Government leaders from 150 countries will gather in Abu Dhabi this weekend to ‘chart a roadmap for the energy system of the future’.
The eighth annual Assembly of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) will bring together over 1100 decision makers united in their goal to accelerate the transition to clean power.
“At the IRENA Assembly, our global membership will set the direction of the Agency in the coming years and chart a roadmap for the energy system of the future – a future that will be increasingly decarbonised, decentralised and digitalized,” said IRENA Director-General Adnan Z. Amin.
The Assembly will also host the Visions of Sustainability to showcase the impact of renewable energy.
