Earth Day 2018 on 22 April is calling for collective action to ‘end plastic pollution’.
The annual event led by the Earth Day Network (EDN) is part of its ‘multi-year’ campaign to encourage individuals, companies, organisations and educators ‘be the change’ and take action to tackle the negative impact of plastic waste.
“There is a growing tidal wave of interest in ending plastic pollution and some countries and governments are already in the vanguard. Earth Day Network believes we can turn that tidal wave into a permanent solution to plastics pollution,” said Kathleen Rogers, President of EDN.
