Companies, organisations, governments and citizens are being encouraged to take the Climate Neutral Now Pledge.
A voluntary initiative led by the United Nations Climate Change secretariat – it asks people to ‘measure, reduce, and offset’ their emissions, which can be estimated using an online calculator. To offset emissions, participants can back projects recognised by the UN-Certified Emissions Reductions (CERs) programme.
“We all need to take personal responsibility to combat the threat of climate change. Join me in the Climate Neutral Now initiative to reduce the impact of climate change and offset carbon emissions. Help protect the ecosystems that sustain biodiversity and save the livelihoods of billions of people around the world,” said actor, Edward Norton.
