It’s time to vote for nature

People are being urged to cast their vote for nature by picking their favourite finalist in Europe’s Nature 2000 Award.

The projects going head-to-head in the Citizens’ Award category are making an impact in safeguarding Natura 2000 sites, located in what is the ‘largest coordinated network of protected areas in the world’. The sites offer a ‘haven to Europe’s most valuable and threatened species and habitats’ and these initiatives are playing a critical role in protecting biodiversity.

Read about the projects – and vote by 27 April. The winners will be revealed at the Natura 2000 Award Ceremony in May.
