New innovations in sustainable energy to be unveiled
The Catalonian capital will host Europe’s leading innovation showcase event in sustainable energy next month.
The Business Booster 2016 (TBB) will be hosted in Barcelona by InnoEnergy, the innovation engine for Europe’s sustainable energy industry. This year’s theme is – changing business models of the energy sector – will attract “renowned sustainable energy thinkers, successful entrepreneurs and energy market experts” to discuss the issues and offer solutions to the challenges faced by the industry.
“TBB will bring together the brightest minds in sustainable energy with experienced energy companies. This collaboration is key to developing new business models and driving the newest ideas, innovations and breakthroughs towards commercial success,” says Elena Bou, Innovation Director at InnoEnergy. “We will unveil more than 150 exciting innovations on the exhibition floor, making this the biggest TBB to date.”
Organsiers have also revealed Peter Carlsson, angel investor, board member and advisor, and former VP supply chain for Tesla Motors will present a keynote in Barcelona. He will join an impressive line-up in Barcelona, of pioneers dedicated to finding the quickest route to achieving a sustainable future.
“Europe’s renewable energy targets are continuing to drive prolonged and unprecedented change across the region’s energy industry,” adds Diego Pavía, CEO at InnoEnergy. “With all substantial changes come large challenges but – more importantly – opportunity. TBB is about seizing that opportunity. We are providing our start-ups and innovations with the unmissable chance to get in front of some of Europe’s most successful energy companies to share ideas and develop new ways of working.”
The event will take place t the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya in Barcelona from 23 – 24 November 2016.
