The deadline for this year’s EU Prize for Women Innovators is this week – the 18 August.
Led by the European Innovation Council (EIC), the annual Prize will award €100,000 to each of the top three women innovators selected by an independent expert jury, who will also pick three ‘Rising Innovators’ under the age of 35 to receive €50,000 each.
Maria Fátima Lucas, co-founder and CEO of biotech startup, Zymvol, was a winner in 2020 and she wrote about the experience for Innovators Magazine.
“For me, the Women Innovators award is a huge incentive to follow my path. It has shown me that when we really want something, with ideas, motivation and work, everything is possible,” she said.
Women innovators like Maria can inspire the next generation of female innovators to ‘smash stereotypes and break boundaries in innovation’. Read more about Maria’s experience in entering the EU Prize for Women Innovators and be part of it this year.
