A free eco-innovation webinar next week will provide expert insight on how to transform discarded fishing nets into business opportunities.
It will be led by Martin Charter, Professor of Innovation & Sustainability and Director, The Centre for Sustainable Design – a partner of the Circular Ocean initiative, which promotes entrepreneurship around this. Supported by the European Regional Development Fund’s Interreg VB Northern Periphery and Arctic (NPA) Programme, it targets audiences in countries including Scotland, Norway and Ireland.
The webinar will be held on Monday, 15 January 2017, at 6:30pm (GMT).
Promoting platforms like this is part of our commitment to push for a sustainable future by featuring ‘Take Action’ stories – to highlight the variety of ways people, businesses, institutions and governments can get involved with, and advance the sustainability movement.
