Circular economy pioneers WANTED

There is one week left to enter Global Game Changers 2018 – an international awards platform that rewards impact towards the UN Global Goals.

We launched the event with Newsquest Media last year; it is one of the first to celebrate cross-sector innovation focused on tackling the #GlobalGoals – and we are delighted to join forces with them again for GGC 2018 in Glasgow this September.

There are 10 categories, recognising women in innovation, STEM excellence, startups, corporates doing good, young pioneers, intrapreneurship, zero hunger ideas, collaboration, the circular economy and moonshot thinking. Entrants have to show how their innovation impacts on one or more of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The Circular Breakthrough title – sponsored by the Circular Glasgow initiative – will go to…

An organisation that can demonstrate how their product or services help to accelerate the transition towards a circular economy, establishing a more sustainable way of doing business. It could be anything from circular product design and innovation; re-use, repair, remanufacturing to effective supply chain and cross-sectoral collaboration; incorporating design thinking, digital technology and/or adopting resource efficiency.

Apply now; it is open to all – wherever you’re based.

Glasgow’s iconic Grand Central Hotel will host the ceremony on 12 September, with Global Goals advocate Marc Buckley providing the keynote speech.
