Help solve global problems

An MIT initiative is looking for innovators who can help in addressing the world’s biggest problems.

The Solve project is currently accepting submissions for ideas on how to build ‘sustainable urban communities’. With more than half the global population living in cities – which cause 70% of all greenhouse gas emissions, radical new approaches are needed if the people who live there are ‘to gain access to sustainable food and water sources’.

This latest challenge is open until 1 August. Those selected will get personalised support, financial and non-financial, to scale their ideas.
