Global contest for tech startups

NTT DATA launched its 10th annual Open Innovation Contest this week for tech startups anywhere in the world with ideas for building stronger communities.

Regional contests will be held in 15 cities, across 13 countries, with the winners in each making it to the Tokyo grand finale in January 2020, where the champion will secure funding of ‘up to $100,000 USD to develop a proof of concept (POC) with NTT DATA client’

“This contest is an important measure to realize the following three strategies for NTT DATA Group: the contest promotes innovation that helps tie back to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, expands global digital offerings for our company, helps unleash our employees’ potential that maximizes organizational strengths and, most importantly, delivers great value to our clients all over the world based on their regional needs,” said Yo Honma, CEO, NTT DATA.
