Events are due to take place in more than 150 countries tomorrow as part of World Food Day.
Pope Francis will speak at a ceremony in Rome to get the global initiative, organised by the Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nation, underway. The theme for 2017 is change the future of migration. Invest in food security and rural development.
The overarching aim of World Food Day is to raise awareness of current challenges and find pathways to achieving UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 2 – to have Zero Hunger by 2030.
