(EUROPE)
A new initiative has been launched to support the next generation of innovators working to deliver a sustainable energy system for Europe.
The continent’s innovation engine for clean energy, InnoEnergy, has joined forces with The GC Index® – an assessment platform used to pinpoint game changers – to offer the Game-Changing Impact programme. The 18-month programme seeks to ‘bridge the gap between education and enterprise’ by encouraging students to take a fresh approach to creating a future powered by renewables.
Students on this year’s InnoEnergy Master’s School will work on their core skills with a personal coach to find transformative solutions for the industry. It will see them participate in group exercises, access experienced business minds and work on real-world examples.
“We’re proud to be working in close partnership with The GC Index® to pioneer a new approach to sustainable energy education. People are the lifeblood of innovation and its key that our graduates have the right skills to help Europe achieve a sustainable energy future,” said Frank Gielen, Education Director at InnoEnergy. “The new programme supports both students and their future employers. Industry needs an informed, engaged and ambitious graduate workforce to achieve success. Our focus is to equip students with the essential workplace skills needed to make a smooth transition from education to industry.”
