Frisco moving free from fossil fuels

Frisco has become the 11th city in Colorado to commit to moving to 100% renewable energy, according to the Sierra Club. The Town Council has backed plans to complete the transition to clean electricity by 2035.

“Frisco’s future depends on a clean, livable climate. We applaud the Town of Frisco for its leadership in tackling climate change,” said Tiernan Spencer, leader of Frisco’s 100 Percent Renewable Energy Campaign.

We like to give a shout out to the ever increasing number of American towns, cities and states choosing to make this step, as it can only help inspire others in the country – and world-wide – to follow suit.
