ITALY – Startups advancing innovations that can transform the food and retail sectors can apply to join the FoodTech Accelerator from Deloitte Officine Innovazione.
Ten startups will join a 15-week programme in Milan designed to take exciting early stage companies to the next level. They will work alongside the accelerator’s corporate partners to advance ‘concrete industrial pilot projects’. The call is open to innovators progressing products linked to food production and distribution. Investment of €70k, a mix of cash and services is offered in exchange for up to 6% of equity. The accelerator concludes with a DemoDay, when startups will pitch to investors invited by Deloitte and partners for the chance to secure additional investments of €1M.
