This is ‘some pretty cool stuff’

A pioneering inventor has brought a comic book fantasy to life. Flying in the Daedalus flight suit he built, Richard Browning looks more like Iron Man than an English family man.

He dazzled delegates at a TED Conference in Canada this week when he lifted off from Vancouver Harbor.

Minutes before showing the TED audience what he had achieved, he told them: “The hypothesis was that the human mind and body, if properly augmented, could achieve some pretty cool stuff.”
