Nacho Dean is today’s guest on Inside Ideas. Nacho is a naturalist, and professional explorer, who owes his passion for nature and adventure to his parents who, from an early age, took him to the mountains, camping, and swimming in the sea.

Nacho was the first person in history to walk around the world and swim across the five continents (there have been more people on the moon). His mission is to make expeditions that document the state of our planet. Which disclose and raise awareness of the importance of caring for it.

In his 2013 to 2016 adventure, he went around the world traveling four continents, 31 countries and 33,000 kilometers – on foot alone, without assistance and without interruption to document climate change. More recently, between 2018 and 2019 he completed the Nemo Expedition, a challenge that led him to unite the five continents by swimming to launch a message of ocean conservation.

(First aired September)
