The Local Renewables Conference in Freiburg and Basel this October is offering some excellent tours of pioneering sustainability projects.
Innovators Magazine is a media partner with the conference, which has a 2018 theme: Urban Transformation to a Circular Economy. We will be promoting the event on these pages over the coming months – and there’s a lot to promote. The organisers, the City of Freiburg, the City of Basel and ICLEI Europe, are giving attendees the opportunity to see first-hand the huge progress being made in transforming industrial and landfill sites into sustainability-led initiatives that support local communities, via study tours.
The conference takes place on 24-26 October 2018, with early bird tickets available until 1 August.
