Stakeholders keen to join them should think about attending the EU Circular Business Conference on 26 September in Brussels.
Led by the European Commission, the event will strive to inspire cross-sector players and decision-makers to ditch the ‘take, make, dispose’ models of the past, in favour of a more sustainable, circular and ultimately profitable path. The potential financial rewards were revealed last year in a guide compiled by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) in collaboration with Accenture, which told CEOs they should “seize the USD$ 4.5 trillion opportunity the circular economy represents”.
