The European Innovation Council (EIC) has launched a €10 million space technology prize.
Innovators are being challenged to ‘develop a European technologically non-dependent solution for launching light satellites into Low-Earth Orbit (LEO), which will enable dedicated low-cost launches with committed schedule and orbit’.
The €10 million Prize, open for applications until 1 June 2021, will go a solution that is ‘innovative, implementable, affordable in development and exploitation phases, and commercially viable’.
Check out the EIC website for details of the rules and eligibility for the Horizon Prize to develop a European Low Cost Space Launcher.
