#CookingIsAnActOfLove

That’s the name of a new campaign calling on us all to direct that love at both planet and family. Led by non-profit, Food for Soul, an organisation which seeks to inspire communities worldwide to get behind a ‘healthier and more sustainable food system’, the #CookingIsAnActOfLove initiative is all about putting the issue of food waste at the front of people’s minds this festive period.

Food for Soul was founded by Chef Massimo Bottura and Lara Gilmore, and the pair will have the full support of Francescana group teams worldwide over the coming weeks, in sharing family secrets that will help you turn food waste into delicious meals. Mouthwatering recipes will be released regularly, with the first already available, a ‘Matzah ball soup by Casa Maria Luigia’s Chef Jessica Rosval (pictured) in celebration of her Jewish traditions’.
