A new European platform to advance the circular economy is now online.
The website for the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform, now live, is the go-to place for the burgeoning industry. It aims to grow a cross-sectoral movement of advocates and practitioners that can accelerate the adoption of sustainable business models across the continent.
“A network of networks, it goes beyond sectorial activities and highlights cross-sector opportunities and challenges, providing a meeting place for stakeholders to share their solutions and team up to address specific challenges, while bridging existing initiatives, and advocating the circular economy at national, regional and local level, and supporting its implementation,” the new site states. “This website will be pivotal in fostering exchanges and interaction and inspire the future EU vision on circular economy. It is work in progress and will evolve over time.”
