Entrepreneurs can make money and save the world at the same time, the Executive Director of the Good Food Institute told Innovators Magazine.
Bruce Friedrich points to the huge investments being made in clean meat and plant-based food companies, by the likes of Bill Gates, as evidence of the savvy business minds being attracted to these markets.
“At their best, innovators improve humanity’s fortunes while expanding our horizons. The market provides significant financial rewards to those who take the risk of pushing the leading edge. Nowhere are the opportunities for innovation greater than in the good food arena,” he told us.
Bruce explains all in an article written for an upcoming special biotech edition of Innovators Magazine, which will be distributed at an industry conference in Glasgow hosted by the Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre (IBioIC) later this month.
This year’s event – Building on Success – takes place on 25 and 26 January 2018, at the Technology & Innovation Centre, Glasgow.
