A ‘practitioner guide to the circular economy‘ has been launched today by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).
The WBCSD released the guide during the first day of the 2017 US Circular Economy Summit in Washington. It follows the recent release of its CEO guide outlining strategies for capitalising on the “USD$ 4.5 trillion opportunity the circular economy represents”.
“The optimism and momentum behind the circular economy is energizing. Our goal is to help businesses implement circular solutions at all levels, and the Practitioner Guide is a necessary first step putting together a list of actions and processes companies can use to transition towards circularity,” said Maria Mendiluce, Managing Director of WBCSD’s Natural Capital Area.
