One of Europe’s flagship accelerators for tech startups is on the hunt for young innovative companies developing ‘digital deep tech solutions’.

The EIT Digital Challenge – now in its fifth year – wants to hear from scaleup companies pioneering products in five areas: Digital Industry, Digital Cities, Digital Wellbeing, Digital Infrastructure and Digital Finance. Entrants must have an annual revenue in excess of €300,000 – or have attracted a minimum of €2 million in funding, and be based in an EU country.

“In this fifth year of the contest, we’re offering our most comprehensive prize package ever, with a total value of €750,000, and admitting ten companies at once into our acceleration programme,” says Dolf Wittkamper, Head of the EIT Digital Accelerator.

Dozens of top ‘business developers and finance experts’ in 13 cities across the continent, as well as at a Silicon Valley hub, will support participants in the accelerator. Two from each category will get 12 months of access to the accelerator, with €50,000 going to the winner of each.

The application deadline is 14 June.
