Buying with people and planet in mind

Diane Hatz is a social entrepreneur working to create a more healthful, sustainable, equitable world, with a strong focus on food and farming. And she is my guest today on Inside Ideas.

Diane is currently the CEO and founder of Boma Grow USA as well as founder and executive director of the nonprofit Change Food and it’s latest program Plant Eat Share – an effort to provide resources for communities to grow and share healthy food. She also founded and hosted TEDxManhattan Changing the Way We Eat from 2011-2015.

Talking about the importance of communicating to individuals that their choices make a real difference, Diane said: “If you want to be part of creating the world we want to see, understand that your decision to buy the seventh generation unbleached toilet paper matters. We really need to work harder to get consumers to understand, everything you do is important.”

For more on this, and a lot more, dive in to today’s podcast with Diane Hatz.
