Glasgow is hosting Europe’s showcase event for the industrial biotechnology industry this week. It is a fitting location as Scotland is increasingly becoming central to the success of the booming international industry.
Innovators Magazine has produced a special edition for the The European Forum for Industrial Biotechnology and the Bioeconomy (EFIB) which focuses on the strengths of Scotland, its importance to global stakeholders and the huge opportunities available from connecting with the country.
We went behind the scenes with the Glasgow-headquartered Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre (IBioIC) and Scotland Development International to find out why Scotland is increasingly being viewed as such an important hub for pioneers worldwide.
Read about the culture of innovation and collaboration underpinning the Scottish success story in our special EFIB edition now.
EFIB is being held at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow from 18-20 October.
