Berlin’s iconic International Green Week (IGW) gets underway in less than two months.
Around 400,000 visitors are expected to attend IGW; with producers, consumers, industry stakeholders – and more – heading to the German city for a celebration of sustainable practices within the world’s food and agriculture industries.
The event, which was first held in 1926, is a place to enjoy amazing produce from every corner of the planet, learn about the current trends and get some business done if you are in the trade.
Bulgaria, a champion of ecological farming, is the partner country in 2018.
“For Bulgaria the Green Week represents a very important trade fair for showing our high-quality food and farming products. Among our exhibits will be rose and lavender oil, from a market in which we are world leaders. Other important items include fruit and vegetables and meat products. Germany is a strategic partner of the Bulgarian food industry. German engineering, technology and standards are also used in the manufacturing of our products,” said Desislava Taneva, Bulgaria’s former Minister of Agriculture
International Green Week will take place from 19 to 28 January.
