The world’s largest conference in these fields is spearheaded by the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), which has just announced the programming for the event. The packed programme includes speakers transforming the bio-based economy through their work, such as Michael Köpke, director, synthetic biology, LanzaTech, a company ranking 15 on CNBC’s Disruptor 50 list; and Reshma Shetty, co-founder, Gingko Bioworks – in at 19 on the same list.
