A new European startup competition wants to hear from millennials pioneering “solutions that meet Europe’s most pressing challenges.”
Launched this year by Knowledge4Innovation — in cooperation with IncubatorEurope and Glowfly — the EU Top 50 millennial startup competition winners will be revealed on 28 November at the European Parliament Hemicycle in Brussels, during the European Innovation Summit|Week.
“We’re on a mission to find Millennials who are disrupting industries” says Dr Roland Strauss, Managing Director of Knowledge4Innovation. “We understand the importance of knowledge exchange and the need to empower the region’s most promising young founders, who are leveraging technology to build disruptive solutions that meet Europe’s most pressing challenges.”
The next generation of change makers – innovating across a range of areas including climate change, biotechnology, energy transitions, digital tech, food and agriculture and space exploration will showcase their ideas to investors and corporates on the 28 November.
Legendary explorer Bertrand Piccard will be one of the keynote speakers, along with the former President of the European Parliament, and former Prime Minister of Poland, Jerzy Buzek, and Victor Negrescu — Minister Delegate for European Affairs, Romania, and former Member of the European Parliament and digital entrepreneur.
