Apple’s highly anticipated and much speculated on special event at its Cupertino headquarters in California has just concluded with a raft of exciting new announcements made to the audience.

The technology giant will introduce what CEO Tim Cook labelled “the most powerful 4-inch phone ever” in the form of a new smartphone called iPhoneSE, which will launch this month. It will help add to the already one billion plus Apple devices he said are now being used worldwide.

Apple also introduced a new 9.7-inch iPad Pro and announced Apple watches will start below $299, $50 below the previous entry level.

Tim Cook said:“We are always pushing forward and innovating.”

He also stressed Apple’s commitment to protect the data of its customers and said the company wants to set the standard for sustainability by using energy from 100% renewable sourced; it is already deriving 93% from renewable energy.
