A smartphone app platform has helped serve up 17 million meals to those who need it most.
In a bid to contribute to UN Sustainable Development Goal 2 (SDG2), the ShareTheMeal app bags someone a meal for just US $0.50. The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) supported app is available in 10 languages and 30 currencies.
