The agricultural technology (agri-tech) industry will take centre stage in London next month.
For two days the game changers transforming one of the world’s most traditional sectors will gather in England’s capital to discuss how the fusion of old and new can forge a fresh direction to create a sustainable ecosystem robust enough to feed a growing global population.
The World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit will see “global agribusinesses, VC investors and technology start-ups from around the world come together to uncover the most exciting innovations in agricultural technology,” the event website states.
One innovation hitting the headlines around the world is vertical farming, which is very much on the rise. And the development of tech that can be used in urban buildings to produce fruit and veg without sunlight – will be one of the event’s big topics.
The summit at the Tower Hotel, London, takes place on October 17 and 18. Click here to find out more.
