A big year for solar power in America

|2 March 2016|

USA

Solar power is set to be the premier source of additional power in America this year.

The US Energy Information Administration released figures earlier this week which predict 9.5 GW additional generation from solar in 2016, more than from any other source. That is more than a third of the expected 26 gigawatts of new utility-scale generating capacity predicted and more than the total solar installations for the past three years combined.

Tax incentives and the ever increasing adoption of renewable energy sources are helping place solar at the forefront of the industry stateside.
